I have purchased premium and followed the migration instructions to the letter at least 4 times. All of the files are in the WordPress site under GoDaddy. I still do not have the site I created at the hosted domain. The only reason I purchased premium was for the one-click restore. If this does not work for manual uploads to the cpanel it should be in the instructions. My site was supposed to be “Live” yesterday and I don’t know what to do. If someone could please help wil additional instructions on how to make the site read the files I need to view the website I created it would be extremely helpful. I also feel like this site makes it extremely difficult to get help.
November 13, 2018 at 11:40 am #29322christophermGuestWe need some more specific information on which instructions you were following and what you’re seeing instead of your site. All of that information will give us a better shot at finding where the process is breaking down for you. This will also help us find out if you’re having a generic WordPress issue, which your host could help you with, or if it is indeed an issue with BoldGrid.
November 13, 2018 at 5:03 pm #29323eparks16GuestHello Chris, I followed the instructions here: https://www.boldgrid.com/support/boldgrid-backup/how-to-migrate-your-wordpress-site-using-boldgrid-backup/
After clicking “Restore” I am not receiving the “Congrats” message, nor does the site change. I still the default WordPress site that came up after setting up my hosting.
The site that I am trying to setup is
http://www.registerslidebuy.com/
I also don’t understand why my links still say “demo” and “trial” even though I’ve added the premium key. . . https://demo2.boldgrid.com/trial-9t31wzux/home/ -which took several click throughs to find it under BoldGrid Connect.
I’ve added the premium connect key in both BoldGrid and where I am trying to move the site to. I’ve also added the Premium and basic plugins, etc.
November 14, 2018 at 8:57 am #29324christophermGuestConsidering that you have a premium account, you may want to consider submitting a support ticket through BoldGrid Central.
November 14, 2018 at 10:25 am #29325eparks16GuestWhen I was signed in to BoldGrid Central it brought me here. Needless to say, at this point, I just figured something out to make it work. I should have known better than to pay for a plugin.
November 14, 2018 at 3:44 pm #29326arnelcGuestWe’re glad that you got it to work and apologies for any confusion. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
