I have also added the Elementor Editor to see if that will work, but I click on Edit with Elementor button and still not way to edit the pages.
January 16, 2019 at 11:38 am #29568arnelcGuestSorry for the edit icon not appearing where it should. In order for us troubleshoot this, we would need more information. What version are you using? What plugins do you have loaded? Do you have third party themes loaded? If so, please specify. We would recommend that you have nothing but BoldGrid and WordPress loaded to see if there are no plugin or theme conflicts. You should also have the latest versions. Please provide us a little more information and we can investigate the issue in more depth.
If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
January 16, 2019 at 11:47 am #29569Fred TheobaldGuestI am working with 5.0.3 WordPress. I deactivated all the plugins and it appears that I can get to the editing by clicking on the 3 dots for more options, so I will now activate individual plugins to see where a conflict may be.
January 16, 2019 at 12:37 pm #29570Fred TheobaldGuestIt seems to be a plugin issue. I have gotten the background so that it is the same on all the pages, which was not the case previously, but it still seems that the editor program is not what it was before. I’ll work with the plugins to see what is causing the problem and if I cannot fix it, I’ll get back to you.
January 16, 2019 at 12:40 pm #29571arnelcGuestThanks Fred! We appreciate the feedback. If you find that it’s a particular plugin, please submit a ticket to BoldGrid and they can look into it further to see if it’s something they can fix. It may require communication with the plugin developer.
January 16, 2019 at 12:54 pm #29572Fred TheobaldGuestWill do. I may not get back to it until later today now that our site is at least viable. One of the page’s background went totally black when it should have been a light blue as the rest of the site and I could not change it back until I started working with turning on and off the plugins. The plugins we had active were:
Akismet Anti-Spam
BoldGrid Easy
BoldGrid Gallery
BoldGrid Inspirations
BoldGrid Staging
Classic Editor
Contact Form 7
Easing Slider
Elementor
Flamingo
Health Check & Troubleshooting
Ninja Forms
Post and Page Builder
Responsive WordPress Slider – Soliloquy Lite
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
WordPress Importer
WPForms Lite
Yoast SEO
I am not sure which one is causing the problem but with so many, I have not yet turned them all off and then, one by one, turned them on to see where the problem may be. I am still not able to go to a block on a page and edit just that block but at least customers can view the site, now.
January 16, 2019 at 2:12 pm #29573arnelcGuestElementor is a 3rd party page builder that may be the conflicting plugin. Try turning that one off and also deactiving Yoast. Once the site is built you can turn Yoast back on.
