When I install and activate the BoldGrid-Inspirations plugin, my wordpress dashboard gets all jacked up. It moves things in the left-hand menu around and Appearance completely disappears.
When I deactivate, it goes back to normal.
This is normal. The BoldGrid Inspirations plugin “reorders” some of the available items in the WordPress Dashboard. However, this behavior can be changed under Settings > BoldGrid Inspirations > Reorder Admin Menu. This way, you can use BoldGrid Inspirations with the normal Dashboard appearance.
Ok, thanks. Can you tell me when I’m supposed to receive my 32 digit connect key? I requested it yesterday and still haven’t got it.

We appreciate your patience. I asked that they look for a record of your request, but there is no record of it based on the email used in this question ( james.welbes@gmail.com). You can get a key by simply signing up for an account at BoldGrid Central. If you need for us to look further into it, then please provide the email associated with the key request.

yeah I thought it was weird, I clicked the link in my WordPress dashboard that said click here to get your key or whatever, it just took me straight to a boldgrid page that said “your key is on the way check your email” but it never said which email it was going to, it never asked me to sign in or sign up or anything.
