I thought I was working on my staging site in BoldGrid, but a support person at my webhost pointed out that if I click on BoldGrid in my cPanel, no installations are indicated. Yet I see the BoldGrid icon in the top left of my WP Dashboard. What the heck?

BoldGrid plugins and themes can be installed on any WordPress based website, and it is possible that the websites created with your hosting provider were created using the WordPress cPanel script instead of the BoldGrid one.  Try using the WordPress option in your cPanel to see if your website is listed there.
