I uploaded the W3 Total Cache Plugin for my WordPress Site but when I go to the plugin it says:
W3 Total Cache
Disabled | DeleteHow do I enable this plugin?

Some hosting providers do not allow W3 Total cache or other caching plugins to be installed and active. Can you please share your hosting provider and if it allows caching plugins?

I am using Google Chrome. I cleared my Google Cache going back to the beginning of time but the issue persists.

I went to WordPress Support and asked why your plugin is coming up “Disabled” and they told me:
Regarding W3 cache, that plugin is incompatible with our platform:
https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/incompatible-plugins/We already provide caching services by default, so extra caching plugins like W3 can cause issues.
This is surprising as your plugin is so highly rated.
In any event I do not know what to do and would appreciate advice.

I am sorry for the confusion. SO the wp.com and wp.org are not the same.The main difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org is that WordPress.com is a fully hosted platform, while WordPress.org is a self-hosted platform. This means that WordPress.com takes care of hosting, security, and maintenance for you, while WordPress.org requires you to find your own hosting provider and take care of security and maintenance yourself. Additionally, WordPress.com has limitations on customization and plugins, while WordPress.org allows for full customization and plugin installation.
This is why I was confused when you stated that the website is hosted on WordPress. So this is the reason why you cannot activate the W3 Total cache on your website.
