Hi guys,
I was trying to get the mail chimp integration to work with ninja forms which involved a lot of activating and deactivating plugins to see what things were interfering with each other. The boldgrid ninja forms plugin would not pass on the information to mail chimp, despite having the api key and for ID and all that. Therefore, I deactivated the boldgrid ninja form plugin and installed and activated the official one (ninja forms for wp). This problem persisted until I upgraded to 3.0, AND THEN DEACTIVATED THE OFFICIAL PLUGIN AND ACTIVATED THE BOLDGRID VERSION. I have no idea why this worked, obviously.
However, now some of my forms fail to show up, instead they simply display “no fields found.” I’ve tried going back and forth between all three versions of ninja forms (BG, 2.9, and 3.0) but I can’t find a combination that both displays the damn form and passes along the variables to mail chimp.
I’m at the end of my rope. I’m out of ideas. Anyone got any help? I contacted the ninja forms folks about it and they were very helpful until they realized that it was boldgrid’s responsibility to fix this. It doesn’t seem that BG actually has a customer facing support line, which is a whole lot of bullshit. So, I’m posting this here and hoping you have a magical solution or an actual bolgrid employee sees this.
Cheers,

Thanks for submitting a question about Ninja forms and MailChimp integration showing no fields found. I advise downloading and reinstalling a fresh copy of the BoldGrid plugin. The new version of BoldGrid uses WPForms instead of Ninja Forms. WPForms has a pro version available that includes an addon for MailChimp, and this may provide better results for you.
Best,
Christopher M.
