I am using Total UPKeep plugin and also added Remote FTP that got connected successfully too. However, whenever I try to upload backup via the back up plugin, I get the following error: Unable to upload backup file. Unable to get a directory listing from FTP server.
I am able to access FTP location and upload file via Filezilla. I am using BunnyCDNSeptember 28, 2020 at 4:26 pm #27616Jesse OwensKeymasterHi Zoheb-
When you say you’re using BunnyCDN, are you using their cloud storage service to store your backups? If so, I noticed that they recommend using a Passive Connection in their tutorial on FTP storage.
In order to change this for your backups, navigate to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Storage and click on the Update link next to FTP. From here, you’ll be able to change the connection type fro Auto to Passive. Also double-check that you’re using FTP and Port 21.
September 28, 2020 at 5:25 pm #27617ZohebGuestYes, I am using Passive already. I have put the correct detail, but not working. I have sent the credential to Dreamhost as they asked to investigate further. They said they are not developers of that plug-in (I guess they are a reseller and you guys are the developer). Hoping they will fix it.

I’d also like to mention that as a DreamHost Customer, you have a premium BoldGrid account. If you’d like us to take a closer look for you, submit a Premium Support Ticket with the credentials and our team will investigate more for you as well.
September 28, 2020 at 5:31 pm #27625ZohebGuestSince Dreamhost is already investigating the issue, I would wait for their reply first. I don’t want to create conflict that may occur due to 2 people tuning at the same time. I will let you know after I hear from them.

October 2, 2020 at 3:44 pm #27830Brad MarkleKeymasterHi Zoheb, I just released a new tag, “branch.issue-376.202010021533” that should resolve this issue. Are you able to help us test this version?
I believe you’ve used WP Rollback to switch to different tags before. If you’re familiar with doing that, please give branch.issue-376.202010021533 a try and let us know if it helps. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, please see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeLEdcaz4uk&t=160s
October 2, 2020 at 3:50 pm #27831ZohebGuestThe issue is actually resolved and Dreamhost informed me the same. Can you guys add the option to password protect zip(archive file). So when the backed up file is sent to FTP, the zip file is password protected? I know there is already an encryption option to encrypt the database, but the Password protecting the whole zip file will be great.
