why is installation of bold grid taking so long?

I’m sorry to see that you are experiencing delays with your installation of BoldGrid. Thanks for posting your comment for assistance. If it’s been a few minutes, I recommend starting over. However, prior to starting over, you should make a backup (if you have an existing site) and be sure to update WordPress and any other themes and plugins to their latest versions. The installation of BoldGrid shouldn’t take very long. If you continue to experience issues, we will need a few more details surrounding your WordPress environment to diagnose the issue. For instance:

• WordPress Version
• PHP Version
• Plugins and Themes Versions
• BoldGrid Version you are attempting to install
• Any errors displayed throughout the process
