I want to either place the logo in the middle of the header space or add an image to be located beside the logo and above the menu. I am using the Primas theme.

Thanks for reaching out, and thanks for using the Primas WordPress theme.
The logo location in Primas is hard-coded to be on the left side, but it is possible to modify that with some custom code. If you’re interested in getting full control over your header design without code, I recommend checking out the Crio Supertheme.
unfortunately, there is an extra cost to that one. I could live with centering the logo and having the navigation bar below it.

We just released an update to the free version of Crio that allows you to select from a few predefined header layouts, and one of those options centers the logo and puts the navigation bar below. Purchasing the Pro version will allow you to create custom header layouts on a page by page basis, but if you just want to change the overall layout for your entire site then the free version will likely give you all the tools you need to achieve your design goals!
