Good Afternoon,
I’m encountering a problem trying to edit the footer text on my website that uses the Hifidel theme. When I click The error on Customize > Advanced > Footer Settings > Edit Footer Widgets I receive the error “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”
I’m trying to update the text of my copyright notice to “©2022 Joseph Sinnott” (from 2021), so if there’s a work around for the problem I’d be glad to know it. I’ve included the text from the “Copy Error” button below.
Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

We inspected your page and I see that you now have the correct copyright year displayed in your footer. It seems to have been a JavaScript runtime error that caused the issue. Perhaps an update to one of your plugins resolved this.
If you would like the copyright year to change automatically you could try using some custom HTML and place it inside of a Custom HTML widget in your footer. This bit of HTML should do just that:

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I figured it out not long after posting (sorry to waste your time!). After upgrading a bunch of plugins it seemed to break, and then I noticed I could upgrade the actual theme. Once I did that everything worked correctly again.
I like the idea of the year updating automatically, but I’m not much of a web developer. The version of my website you’re looking at happened with a lot of work and help. If you can tell me how and where I’d insert that bit of code to have the year update automatically I’d be very grateful.
