Mobile cache

As you can see in the W3 Total Cache description of the User Agent groups, you can create a group of user agents by specifying names in the user agents field. Assign a set of user agents to use a specific theme, redirect them to another domain, or if an existing mobile plugin is active, create user agent groups to ensure that a unique cache is created for each user agent group. Drag and drop groups into order (if needed) to determine their priority (top -> down).
Checking the mentioned plugin I can see that not using redirections, and as they explained in their description:

If you have a server cache plugin, be sure to set a different server cache handling for mobile devices, in other cases the mobile version of your pages could also be served on desktop devices.
E.g. W3 Total Cache is caching plugin that can handle the mobile cache.

This being said, I cannot confirm that this will work because it has not been tested, so you can create Specific Content For Mobile and enable user agent groups using the theme currently active.

Alternatively, you can try using an AMP plugin for your website to serve AMP for mobile users.
