I have created hundreds of galleries on my website, and today I am unable to add an image gallery to a page. I tried deleting the page and creating a new one, to no avail. I am running the latest versions of WordPress (6.2) BoldGrid and Crio. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme! I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble adding galleries on your site today.
Can you describe what is happening when you attempt to insert a gallery? Are you using the orange “Add Block Component” icon at the top of your page editor and choosing the Gallery block option or using the “Add Gallery” button above the editor?
I also wanted to see if you saw any change in the text editor before and after adding the gallery.
Thank you for the response. I attempted both the Add Block Component icon and the Add Gallery button but both returned the same result – no gallery was inserted on the page. The page remains blank. The only content on the page will be the gallery when it is working properly. Not sure what happened, because I have created more than 270 galleries on my website using this functionality. Today, is simply does not add a gallery.
Also, I did not see any change in the text editor. It was completely blank before adding a gallery, and again after trying to add a gallery.
I figured out the problem. One of the gallery photos I was trying to include was corrupted which apparently prevented the gallery from loading on the page. I had to review each photo to find the corrupted one, but when I deleted it from the library, the gallery creation worked just like it should. It would have been helpful to understand this earlier as part of a FAQ … Hopefully this will be useful to someone else down the road. Cheers.

So happy to hear you managed to get this resolved. I’ve never seen this happen it’s possible a new bug that’s occurred since the BoldGrid Gallery plugin settings were incorporated into BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.
This issue definitely is something worth testing and bringing to our developers attention. Can you tell us what type of file was the problematic one causing the issue?
The file was a JPG that either did not load to the server library correctly, or was somehow corrupted in the process of uploading. When I deleted that “corrupted” file and reloaded the same JPG image, if it loaded normally, the gallery would compose as normal.

We’ll try our best to replicate the issue on our end and possibly develop a patch or better workaround. How exactly did you notice the file was corrupted on your server?
The image would not display properly on the image viewer in the library, an icon showed up where a thumbnail of the image should normally be.
