The margin control found here is for the spacing around each menu item. If you want to control the margins for the entire menu area click here. You can use the responsive device tools to use various padding on different screen sizes.
- In the Dashboard navigate to Appearance → Customize
- In the Customizer menu navigate to Design → Menus → Menu Location → Menu Items → Spacing
- Use the sliders to control the margin size
Note: You can use the Undo Changes option to remove current changes or Delete Saved Settings to reset to the default options.
