Gallery Sliders are a great way to add some movement to your content and show your users all of your great images!
Note: To follow the instructions in this guide you will need the BoldGrid Gallery and Post and Page Builder plugins activated on your website.
Using the Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid, you can create a new slider gallery by using the + icon and selecting the Gallery option under the Media heading in the list of Block Components.
You will now see the Create Gallery interface and here you can select all of the images that you want to add to your slider. When you have finished choosing your images click the Create a new gallery button.
On the next screen you should see the controls to change your Gallery Settings and the Display dropdown will allow you to create your gallery as a slider.
If you want to add new images to your slider gallery all you need to do is click on the Edit icon after selecting your gallery in the page content. You will then have to option to Add to Gallery or modify your Gallery Settings.

can you have more than one picture at at a time showing so its a row of say 5 pictures?
Brandon says:
Hi Lis,
Thanks for reaching out! When the gallery slider is enabled you can only display one image at a time. You may get the desired effect using a plugin like Smart Slider 3.
I hope this helps!

I do not see Display options under Gallery Settings, just Columns, Crop, Link, and Image Size.
Brandon says:
Hi Miriam,
Can you please check under your “Plugins” dashboard and make sure that the “BoldGrid Gallery” plugin is installed and active? The plugin should add the extra options you’re looking for.
Dave says:
What is the optimum size image for use on the Bold Grid content slider?
Jesse says:
Hello Dave-
The placeholder images are 350px wide by 260px high. If you use an image that’s wider than your user’s device, it will be resized to 100vw (View-Width) so your image should work on any device. That being said, images that are much wider than they are tall don’t work well, because they’ll be very small on a smaller device.
