The icons are not appearing for material that has been moved to far up and is not visible on the edit page, but only the published view page. How do I get to the edit button in this case?
The content above the editing area (the header area) is controlled by the Customizer. The content is not editable directly in the same way as content in the editor. Is there a specific area you’re trying to target?
it was content in the editor section and then i moved it up so that it disappeared of the screen. Now i can not bring it back down.
Can you describe very specifically how this was done so we can try to replicate it? From what I can tell, you say this was a piece of content in your editor window and you dragged it too high and it disappeared completely? You also mentioned you cannot bring the content down. Does this mean you can still see the content hovering above the editor? Which “drag handle” were you using? Any information you can provide will be most helpful.
