Hi! I wish to have my site in 3 different languages. I understand that somehow I can copy/duplicate/replicate the pages I have edited in English to then translate them into each language. I would then create a “languages” menu under “Customize” and link each page to the respective language. I am not sure how this works… Or should I duplicate the entire site twice? How? Please advise. Thank you!
May 7, 2019 at 3:06 pm #30108christophermGuestIt’s up to you as far how you want to organize the various sites. It’s outside of the scope of the BoldGrid plugin itself. This is more of a general WordPress issue.
May 7, 2019 at 4:09 pm #30109adminGuestCould you please tell me how can I duplicate/replicate a page? I went to “Pages” and can’t find the option to select a page and duplicate it.
May 7, 2019 at 4:16 pm #30110adminGuestAlso, please tell me how to customize a template. The Active Theme I selected under Inspirations is Primas. I wish to replace the bar/line on the heading of the master file (I wish to insert a custom designed bar as an object/picture/image instead).
Can I do it under “Custom Theme CSS”, Customizing ▸ AdvancedCustom JS & CSS?
What should I type in?
May 7, 2019 at 5:16 pm #30111christophermGuestBy default there is no option to select a page and duplicate it in WordPress. This is because pages are unique entities with their own metadata and URL. But you can create a new page, copy text from the former page, and paste it into the new page. That’s the only way to copy content directly.
May 7, 2019 at 5:22 pm #30112christophermGuestThe best and safest way to customize a template is via the child theme system. This is basically a way of duplicating a BoldGrid theme into a new custom theme so you can make custom changes. If you’re unfamiliar with HTML, PHP, CSS, or JavaScript, however, you would be best advised to get help from a developer or designer.
Unfortunately we’re not equipped to provide development or design services upon request. In some rare cases, our agents have been able to provide some basic CSS as a general example, but providing free coding services is not something we’re able to do in every case.
