So I have a premium key and I was trying to remove the “Built by BoldGrid Attribution”, but I can’t seem to find the option in the footer design area to remove or hide it. I see the option to hide WordPress, and credits, and etc, but not for BoldGrid. Any ideas, or did they remove this capability?

The BoldGrid Attribution in our Crio theme can only be removed if you have purchased the Pro upgrade for the theme, which is a separate upgrade from the Premium Connect key. Once you have purchased a Crio Pro license you can use the steps in this guide from our support center to hide the attribution.
Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to assist you.
November 23, 2020 at 1:55 pm #31627GCCGuestJust a FYI. While I like the template’s flexibility, before I buy a pro-license, I want to understand how good a site I can make. When I hit something like this, it’s simple. I delete the template and move on.
I appreciate you need to earn a living, but using the stick rather than the carrot is not smart. If you have a lot of features that only come in the pro version, I will probably buy – although I would rather pay a one-time fee rather than an ongoing subscription. If you add future features I need, I’ll pay again. But intentionally putting in an irritation is a negative incentive, and I don’t stick around. I’ll delete the sandbox site I was creating and clone from another template I’ve been using until I found yours.
As it is, unless you change your policies, I’m gone, and I expect others will leave as well, but not bother writing you as I have done.

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all of our Premium products and if you upgrade to Crio Pro you can easily recover your funds should you decide to do so. Lifetime subscriptions are definitely an interesting idea and I will share that with our team so we can discuss the feasibility of adding those for our products.
Please let us know if you ever have any questions about using our plugins and themes on your website!

The first thing to check is to make sure that the Crio Pro extension plugin is installed and activated. You can download it directly from this link.
If you’ve got that installed, the next most common cause is that your Crio License is associated with a different BoldGrid Connect API key than the one in use on your site. If that’s the case, reach out to our premium support team so we can investigate, and if necessary, combine your licenses.
