I’m trying to create a new blog post and when I click on Add Block, nothing is coming up. I’m hosted on DreamHost, running WP 5.4.2, and latest version of of Post & Page Builder Premium 1.13.2. Last time I did a post was 8-Jul, and Add Block was working then. Any idea how I can figure out why this isn’t working? Thanks!

Most commonly, this is caused by a JavaScript conflict with another plugin. One way to check is by watching your browser console while you’re trying to add a block. Here’s a quick video on how to open your browser console:
Once you have your console open, try to add a block and let us know if you see any errors there.
Another technique you can try is to disable your other plugins one-by-one and see if the blocks load while each one isn’t active.
Another interesting tidbit: When I go try editing past blog posts, they come up. However, if I click Text to see code instead of viewing the visual components, nothing happens as well.

That does indeed sound like a JavaScript conflict. Were you able to check out the errors in your browser console? That could give us a place to start troubleshooting.Thanks for the video, Jesse – I have not had a chance to investigate given I’ve been in a lot of meetings the past few days. I’ll hopefully get a chance to debug this over the weeknd. I’ll have updates on Monday, and hopefully, it’ll be positive. 🙂

Hi Jesse,
I checked the error console per the video you sent – thanks for that. The culprit is the BoldGrid Easy SEO plugin. I dasabled it, and am now getting the Add Block to appear and work. Below is the error message from the console. I’m not sure what could be causing this. Any idea?

Thanks a lot for the additional information. This looks like a conflict between the BoldGrid Easy SEO Plugin and Yoast. I’ve gone ahead and filled out a bug report for our developers so we can get this resolved for you.
For the time being, until we can release an update, I recommend keeping BoldGrid Easy SEO deactivated and relying on Yoast SEO.

I wanted to let you know that BoldGrid Easy SEO 1.6.7 was released late yesterday to fix this bug. You can update the plugin and continue using both Yoast and BoldGrid Easy SEO together.Thank you, Jesse, and thanks to the developers for the quick turn-around. I updated to the latest version and things are working now. Really appreciate all that you’ve done.
