It’s a long story, but with the help of Premium Support, I was able to move my Grid One site into Cloud WP Staging using the Crio theme. So my Crio site is basically a clone of my Grid One site, with pretty much all the same content, blocks, etc.
At GT Metrix with my Grid One site I was getting all Green for Grade and Web vitals. Now in Crio, still Green for most metrix, except a big change in Cumulative layout Shift which is now in the red.
The attached link shows the top issues, but I’m not sure how to correct them. The top issues have to do with my website title and tagline, the primary menu and some content in a block that carried over from Grid One.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out! I’m glad to hear your upgrade to Crio is almost done, and I’m sorry to hear about the large Cumulative Layout (CLS) Shift you’re seeing in GTMetrix.
I ran tests on your site using Lighthouse, Google PageSpeed Insights, and GTMetrix, and all three reported a CLS score that fell comfortably in the green zone.
- Lighthouse Mobile reported 0.017
- Google PageSpeed Insights reported 0.065 on desktop and 0.04 on mobile
- GTMetrix Desktop reported 0.03 (GTMetrix saves a report link, which you can see here).
Altogether, I didn’t see anything coming close to the issues reported in your Screenshot. Is it possible for you to send us the GTMetrix report you ran? Generally speaking, Crio should perform quite a bit better than GridOne did in this Core Web Vital metric.

I meant to update my post but got lost in time today. My apologies.
You are correct, the performance is now comfortably in the green! What I ended up doing is using WP Rocket, Regenerating Critical CSS. After that completed I checked GTMatrix and all was in the green. Apparently between converting Grid One over to Crio, staging and transferring back, some off the CSS was out of place. Regenerating the CSS did the trick.
Before Regenerating Critical CSS, there was a noticeable lag in the page loading time. Not now as it loads very fast. Blink of an eye fast.
You are also correct about Grid One to Crio. Now in Google PageSpeed Insights, as you probably saw, I’m getting in the 90’s for mobile and close to 100 for desktop. Grid One barely got in the 60’s with Mobile. I think Crios Hamburger Menu helps a lot with the mobile speed rankings.
I want to thank you because you got me started on Crio with the link in the Themes Forum. I’m also migrating my hosting account with InMotion to their new ultrastack servers.
Thanks again.

That’s great to hear! I was hoping it was something to do with rebuilding your cache.
If you’re enjoying your Crio experience, please feel free to leave a review for the theme on WordPress.org!
