I’m sorry to hear about the difficulty downloading your backup. There’s a couple of basic steps to try first.
First, make sure you’re running the most recent version of Total Upkeep, there was a bug patched a few weeks ago that caused this behavior due to a duplicated Nonce value.
Second, try using the Get Download Link option, and copy and paste the link into your browser, and the download should start.
If your backup starts but doesn’t complete, check the filesize of your backup file. If it is very large, your site may be timing out or the backup might exceed the max filesize allowed. If that’s the case, try using your host’s file manager or FTP to download your backup file.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue for you, check your browser’s error console while you click the download button and reply here if you see any errors there. Here’s a short video showing you how to access your browser’s error console:
