Hello,
Using the Haven theme, which I selected to include a blog.
I have created a unique page id’d as ‘blog’ in the theme. Set it as the ‘posts’ page, but it’s not operating that way. The default blog page is showing up with the new posts. Also, both show up in the primary menu now, but the default one doesn’t show up as a page that is editable. Just a ‘category’.
This is all my first work with Boldgrid. Would appreciate guidance on how to build an editable blog page that is updated by posts and displays summaries, not full articles.
Thanks,

The Blog option in the Inspiration is not a page. It is a Menu item. You can remove it by either re-loading the Inspiration without the Blog option or by going into the Customization screen and choosing the Menu and removing the Blog item. You can also just use the menu item for the Blog and rename it to what you want. Then all of your blog posts will go there. If you want to use your page then you need to go to Advanced > Home page settings> Select Posts page – select your page from the drop down. Then your blog posts should appear.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Kindest regards,
