I am a total noob to SEO, and I have a very, very basic question.
I have the BoldGrid Easy SEO installed and activated, and I have looked and looked, following link to link to link, but do not see anything that tells me the most basic thing: Where do I input the title tags and meta description?
I also can’t find the Status Indicators.
Help?September 8, 2020 at 5:47 pm #26648Jesse OwensKeymasterHi Alan-
There was a bug that was recently patched in BoldGrid Easy SEO that caused the status indicators to disappear on sites running WordPress 5.5, so please make sure that you’re using the most recent version of the plugin.
If you’re still not seeing the status indicators after updating, it’s possible you might have found a new bug. If you can do us a favor and check your browser’s error console while you’re using BoldGrid Easy SEO, and let us know what errors you’re seeing, we can get to the bottom of it for you. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use your browser’s error console:
All that said, you should see a section in the Easy SEO box for Title & Description:
September 9, 2020 at 12:27 pm #26677AlanGuestJesse, here is what I found in the browser’s error console. Perhaps it will mean something to you. It’s Greek to me. (And no, I don’t speak Greek at all.)
“Error while parsing the ‘sandbox’ attribute: ‘allow-orientation-lock’, ‘allow-presentation’ are invalid sandbox flags.”
BTW, my WP and BoldGrid Easy SEO are both current (5.5.1 and 1.6.8 respectively).
You finished your response with, “All that said, you should see a section in the Easy SEO box for Title & Description:”
But the problem is, I don’t understand where that Easy SEO box is. THAT is how basic my question is!
I’ve looked high and low, and cannot find that darned thing.
I have a feeling that when I finally learn where it is I’m going to feel awfully dumb.
But that’s OK. I’m used to it.

THAT’S what I was missing!
I thought it would be shamefully simple!
NQ!
