    Hi there,

    I’m using W3Total cache on https://www.initiation-cirque.be/ .
However, each time I send a newsletter (10K emails), my website / server crashes.
I thought that using cache would allow me to face the load.

I wonder if the page is actually not cached because I add some cookies to each visitor in order to track where they are coming from.
Is there a way to add the cookies for each user but still serve a page that has been previously cached ?

How can I face the load ?

    Thank you!

    Hello Francois,

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
This is not specifically related to the W3 Total Cache but to your server resources and the ability of the server to handle those 10k emails that are being sent.
One thing you are correct about is that the website, at least the front page is not cached:

Mise en cache objet de 0/0 objets utilisant Disk (La constante DONOTCACHEOBJECT est définie)
Mise en cache de page à l’aide de Disk: Enhanced

As you can see, the DONOTCACHEOBJECT is defined for OC caching which also means that the caching is rejected for Page Cache.
Some Plugins or themes, or even hosting providers are defining those constants so You should make sure to check all of this with your hosting provider.
    Thanks!

    Hi Marko,

I’ve an e-commerce website on the same server and the load is fine when I send 20k emails.
This is why I think I’ve an issue with caching on https://www.initiation-cirque.be/ . Thank you for your confirmation.

Where could the DONOTCACHEOBJECT constant be defined ?
W3Total cache can’t add it right? It’s from somewhere else ?

    Thank you,
    François

    Hello Francois,

    Thank you for your feedback.
This can be defined in the template of your theme. No, the W3 Total Cache does not add this, so this is added by some other plugin or theme.
Also, make sure to check the wp-config.php

    Thanks!
