On my site I have three images that srcoll through. Each image has a caption that is over the image. On desktop it looks great, but on mobile the captions and images get distorted. Is there anyway to customize it so that the mobile view and desktop view match?

We’d have to see the images you’re referring to. If I were to answer based on typical BoldGrid functionality, I would say, “no” that is not possible. The themes are designed to be responsive. If you put in images, you would need stick with the same fonts and same image sizes in order to maintain the responsiveness. If it’s a problem with the theme, we would need to first examine your site. Please provide us a little more information if you wish for us to continue looking into the issue.
