Changing the font size in a page doesn’t work for me. I select font from menu, and when I move the slider, the line spacing changes, not the text size.
December 12, 2017 at 3:26 pm #23313Christopher MMemberHello ajkelsey,
Thanks for submitting a question about changing font sizes. Were you able to change the font this way before and it suddenly stopped working, or is the first time you tried to change the font this way and noticed it wasn’t working as intended?
Best,
Christopher M.
December 12, 2017 at 8:23 pm #23312Anonymous UserMemberI just installed Boldgrid and this is the first time.
December 13, 2017 at 10:38 am #23311Arnel CMemberSorry for the problem with changing the font size on the page. If you can please tell us the steps you’re taking to make the change and provide us a URL to look at your site, then we can investigate the matter in more depth. We are not seeing an issue with changing the font size in any of our test sites using BoldGrid. For information on how to make that change, please see How to Change Typography in WordPress.
December 13, 2017 at 7:16 pm #23310Anonymous UserMemberhttp://www.keyportcitizensofaction.org is the page in question.
I go to the page editor.
I select the menu for “Edit Content”.
I select “Font”.
I then move the slider for “Font Size”.
The method shown in the link you provided does work, but I would like to have the flexibility of changing the fonts on the page. The method in the link is very limited. And I expect to have that ability given the option is programmed into Boldgrid.
December 14, 2017 at 10:38 am #23309Arnel CMemberHello,
I looked at your site and you appear to be using the BoldGrid theme Hydra. Your steps are a little vague as I’m not sure if you’re doing the same thing using the BoldGrid interface. I have created a video demonstrating the font size change using the Hydra theme. Please review it and let us know if it matches what you’re doing. Also, I did show the version of plugins I’m using. The WordPress version is 4.9.1. If you’re still having problems, can you let us know if you have any other plugins that are loaded to your site?
December 14, 2017 at 5:22 pm #23308Anonymous UserMemberTo adjust the font size, I put the cursor over the content so those edit tabs appeared, and I selected the orange one. It does the same thing as what the video shows. Never-the-less, I tried the method in the video and it behaved in the same fashion. It would be great if I could upload pictures here.
I have WordPress 4.9.1 installed.
Boldgrid Editor 1.6
Boldgrid Inspirations 1.5.2
BoldGrid SEO 1.5
Loginizer 1.3.8
Mailchimp for wordpress 4.1.12
The following are installed and deactivated:
Akismet Anti-spam 4.0.1
WPForms Lite 1.4.3

Thank you for contacting us with issues adjusting the font size in BoldGrid. We tested with the same versions of the plugins and everything was working successfully. I noticed you are hosted with WebHosting Hub, which is one of our Supporting Web Hosts. I recommend reaching out to them to ensure there are not any issues on the hosting platform. They fully support BoldGrid and can provide account specific assistance, or reach out to us if there is an incompatibility.
Thank you,
John-Paul
