Thanks for reaching out with and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
Our team had a discussion about a similar issue recently and we were able to identify that JetPack was one plugin that was causing this issue. I’m not sure if you’re running that plugin but if so please try try temporarily deactivating it and checking your customizer.
You should also temporarily deactivate any caching or security plugins you may be running to troubleshoot this issue. You’ll want to be sure you’re running the most up to date version of WordPress Core, Crio Theme and Your Crio Premium plugin as well.
If you don’t see any results after deactivating Jetpack you can further your troubleshooting by deactivating all plugins one by one with the exception of BoldGrid plugins to see there’s another problematic plugin causing the error. Try accessing the customizer after each deactivation.
I hope this helps Nelson, we look forward to assisting you further with this!
April 24, 2023 at 11:33 am #86609NelsonGuestHi Brandon,
I have tried to deactivate JetPack and JetPack Boost Plugin but it doesn’t work. So I managed to deactivate third party plugin one by one and still doesn’t work. Now only activate BoldGrid and BoldGrid.com plugin. And I checked the Crio Premium plugin, it seems like only support WordPress version up to 5.9 only, and there mentioned the Crio Premium plugin has not been tested with my current wordpress version 6.2 . So could you please advise me how to get my website to be online in php 8.1?
April 24, 2023 at 10:00 pm #86738Brandon CKeymasterThank you Nelson,
Can you tell me exactly where you’re receiving this error? When I check the site I’m noticing it’s live and functioning properly on my end.
Is this a back-end issue perhaps?
April 24, 2023 at 11:03 pm #86740NelsonGuestHi Brandon,
The website is functioning but it is working under php v7.4 instead of v8.1. I need my website to be online as my website was published by local Government website. So would like to solve this problem before the php 7.4 been removed.
When changed to php v8.1, the website was blank and even I check the element for the coding from google chrome, it was empty as well. I changed to php v8.2 and v8.0 as well but still the same result.
April 24, 2023 at 11:10 pm #86748Brandon CKeymasterThanks Nelson,
I think we may have just replicated your issue with PHP 8.1 and 8.2. On our end everything did function properly with PHP version 8.0 and below enabled.
I’ll get this concern over to our developers ASAP and find out how they would like to proceed. In the meantime you can try updating to PHP 8.0. Be mindful that PHP version 8.1 and 8.2 are a not stable versions and are still not the recommended standard.
You are still safe to run PHP 7.4 as it won’t be removed from the platform anytime in the foreseeable future. PHP 7.4 is actually still the recommended version of PHP to run with WordPress with the newer versions still being betas.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated when we get word from our developers. You can also reach out via this thread at any time for an update.
Thank you!

We have our developers addressing this issue now and it should be resolved in the next Crio update. I hope this isn’t too much of an inconvenience and we appreciate you for working through this with us.
If you have an error message that you could provide we would greatly appreciate it. We would like to review just to make sure you’re experiencing the same issue as other users.
Thank you!
