My site does not work with PHP 8.1 on Dreamhost.com
The Dream host person said this below.
I have deactivated many plugin but it does not help. My site is running on PHP 7.4, but I need to update it to PHP 8.1.
What do I need to do?

Dreamhoster web host will charge me $5 a month if I do not move to PHP 8 before July 16 th.
What theme works with php8 so I can prepare to switch if the Crio theme is not ready in time?Hi Barry,
I received word from our dev that a patch has gone out that should resolve this error with Crio and PHP 8.1. Could you try reattempting your update now?

I updated my Crio theme and any plug ins that needed it. The system converted to PHP8.1. I looked at my site and the menu still did not work.
I went to the theme page again and found it said it needed another update. I did the second Crio update and my site started to work again as normal.

My site is also hosted with Dreamhost and I cannot upgrade PHP to version 8.1 from 7.4. If I run the PHP compatibility test on my server, it fails on these items:
Boldgrid backup premium 1.5.9
Boldgrid backup 1.15.6
Crio-premium 1.10.1
Please help as Dreamhost is now charging me $5 per month to run an outdated version of PHP.

1.) What method are you taking to update your PHP version?
2.) How exactly is your update failing?
3.) What error message do you receive when the update fails?
4.) Have you updated WordPress to its latest version? (6.2)

Using Dreamhost control panel (manage websites / change PHP version)
2.) How exactly is your update failing?
Above procedure tells me upgrade has failed and reverts to PHP 7.4
3.) What error message do you receive when the update fails?
I use SSH and run wp php-compat –php_version=8.1 which tells me what has failed –

crio-premium 1.10.1
wp-mail-smtp 3.8.0
wpforms-lite 1.8.2.24.) Have you updated WordPress to its latest version? (6.2)
