I’m trying to add a google map to the contact us page. It doesn’t see to like being dragged to the portion of the page I would like it on. Is there a trick to locating the map on the page where I want it?

It depends on the theme that you’re using. When I look at the contact page of my BoldGrid test site using the Wedge theme, I see a map already added. If you’re trying to position it in a different location on the page, it can only be moved into a specific space because of the page formatting. You would need to change the coding on the page in order to make a change to the template. However, you should be able to go into the visual editor, add an empty section to the bottom of the page, then cut and paste the sections so that you can move sections around. I recorded my actions in the following video:
When I went to select the form, I was using the CTRL-X option on my keyboard to cut the form out and then paste it into the bottom section that I added. I then did this with the Map and moved into the left section. I also tried to the drag option and it worked as well. The section you’re trying to move something into needs to be empty so that you can drag objects into it.
I hope that helps!

The problem I was having was when I wanted to move it from the left to the right, sort of like you did with the picture in reverse. The space was there, but it would not move and created a duplicate map right below instead. Also after the attempt the orange and blue boxes disappeared and I couldn’t move anything. I would reload and start over, but every time I added the map it would be on the left and not the right like I wanted. Also this was yesterday, today the orange and blue boxes are gone all together and I don’t know how to get them back.
