GuestHello — I am working with the Swifty theme, and included a Social Media menu when I set up my site. I am familiar with where I can add to this list, however, I don’t know how to make a new link appear as an icon (the way Instagram and LinkedIn do) as opposed to simply appearing as text. I have added Linktree to this menu — perhaps LinkTree is simply not supported as an icon? This menu can be viewed at the bottom of http://www.bridgetconnartstudio.net. Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHi Bridget,
Thank you for reaching out and thanks for using the Swifty WordPress Theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.
You’re correct in your assumption that LinkTree is not a supported icon at the moment but there is a way to add custom social media icons your theme.
It does involve you getting your hands a bit dirty with code. You’d need to download Code Snippets and follow the directions in the guide above to add your icon.
I hope this helps! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you get stuck.

GuestThanks for your help Brandon. I feel comfortable with Code Snippets and the other details in the article, it looks like I’m actually more stuck because Font Awesome doesn’t have an icon for Linktree. Guess I will be ready when they do though, thanks so much.

ParticipantNo problem Bridget, since you’re comfortable with Code Snippets you could try creating a custom menu icon on your own and incorporating the LinkTree logo.
