I am trying to create a basic link (hyperlink?) to another existing website.  I managed to create an imbedded image of the page I am linking to, but how do I create JUST a link on the URL text without the embedded image?

    Hello!

Thanks for posting your question about creating a hyperlink from plain text. I’m glad I can assist you with this!

You can accomplish this by following these instructions:

    1. Navigate to Pages and select “Edit” under the page you want the link on.
    2. From the visual editor, highlight (or type and then highlight) the text you want hyperlinked.
    3. Click on the “Insert/edit link” icon from the tool bar above. Insert edit link icon from visual editor in WordPress
    4. This will open up the field where you enter the URL for the link.
    5. Type or paste in the URL for the link and then click the blue arrow button to apply.type or paste in url click apply to insert link

    I hope this helps!
    Sincerely,
    Carlos E
