How do I turn off post comments in WordPress and Crio theme?

Thanks for reaching out with your Crio WordPress theme questions.  Even if you’ve disabled comments globally from the WordPress settings you might still need to disable them for existing posts and pages.

For Existing Posts or Pages

• If comments are still appearing on existing posts or pages, you will need to disable comments for each post or page individually.
• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Posts (or Pages if you want to disable comments on pages).
• Hover over the post or page title and click Quick Edit.
• Uncheck “Allow Comments”.
• Click Update to save changes.

Disabling Comments via WordPress Settings

1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Discussion.
2. Uncheck the option “Allow people to post comments on new articles”. This applies to new posts that you publish.
