I have followed all instructions: Adding an ID to the text (element) where I want users to be directed when clicking on the anchor link. I then created the Anchor link (on the same page). I highlighted the text where I want a person to click, pressed Control+K and in the window that comes up I added #sign and the appropriate ID. every time I add the ID to the Anchor, it does not save. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Sixto!

Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress quetions!

I think you may have already gotten this resolved but I just wanted to link you to a guide on adding anchor links in WordPress that we created in the case you ever run into trouble in the future.

Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.

Yes, I resolved the Anchor link problem by adjusting the actual links higher on the target link on the page. the problem is that now I have more than what I want in space between informational blocks. Had to adjust them so I could allow for the Sticky menu not to lay over the link.

Will try the padding and see what happens. Thanks

    Hi Sixto,

Yes I think adjusting the top/bottom padding of your elements should resolve your problem. It should make it easier to add or the space remove space in between your content.

Please let us know if you run into any issues. We’re always here to help!

    Thanks Brandon,

Yes, I just had to pad all the Anchor link “target destination.” Leaves gaps on the page that I do not really like, but if this is the only work around….

Also, I had asked this question yesterday and I really need to know…. The other website i manage is on Squarespace, when there is a blog post made it automatically posts the blog entry with the picture into Facebook and the like (all but Instagram). Is there a widget or plug-in that helps me do that with Boldgrid? I would hate to have to post to Bolgrid and then repeat the same thing for all of the other Social Media sites.

Please advise, I’ll look around yet have not found anything. The blog is not the easiest to set-up for a newbie to WordPress!

    Hi Sixto,

I’m happy you were able to get this somewhat resolved. I think maybe you should try adjusting the margin a bit as well if you need to fine tune your elements position on the page.

For your next question you can use a plugin like Sassy Social Sharing to easily share your blog content to multiple social platforms at a time. It can also add icons to your blog post and web pages to allow your users to share your content as well.

    I hope this helps!
