How to put the most recent posts on a page

Hello,

I was looking for a way to put the most recent posts show up on the home page. I’ve found I can probably do this with a widget and short code plugin to place a recent post widget into the page. However, I would like to know if there is an easier way to do this within Boldgrid. I would like to be able to make a 3 column row that shows the latest 3 posts with small thumbnails and title above them with the option the summary below them. This is my first time using Boldgrid and I like what I see so far, however, showing recent posts like this is something I do on many of the sites that I’ve built and would like to be able to do here as well. Is there is Gridblock in premium to do this or is this not a feature yet?
