    Hi, I’m not sure if I have a sticky header as I followed other directions to turn it off and I don’t see that option in my header layout. Anyway, my header looks fine. Logo on left, navigation on right. But when I start to scroll down the page, the header stays on top of the page as I’m scrolling. The navigation disappears, and all that’s left is the logo on the left. Also, underneath the logo the header expands another half inch beneath the logo so it’s just blank space in the header background color. So it hides the top part of the website while someone is scrolling. How can I fix this?

    Hi Shari,

    Thanks for reaching out with your Crio Pro WordPress theme questions!

    I inspected your page and I see just what you mean here. To begin troubleshooting let’s verify your sticky headers are in fact disabled.

    In your WordPress customizer navigate to Design > Header > Sticky Header > Select Layout and verify that control setting is switch to off.

    I hope this helps Shari, we look forward to assisting you further with this if need be!

    Thank you for your help. I went to Design – Header, but there is no option for Sticky Header. Here are the options I see: Site Header Layout, Site Title, Logo & Icon, Tagline, Background, Advanced. I checked in all of these menus and did not find the Sticky Header setting anywhere. I vaguely remember seeing it at some point but now can’t find it. Maybe I did turn it off. Any ideas? Is there something I’m missing?

    Never mind. I just found the place where the settings were. Before it was just a sidebar. But this time the settings were in the right side of the page. Never saw that before. And that’s where the sticky header setting was which I turned off. The layout of the Appearance menu is confusing, but somehow I just happened to find it this time. Thanks again for your help.

    I wrote that last post too soon. I did find the Sticky Menu setting and turned it off, but I still get the same problem. I wonder why. It happens on every page. And it doesn’t even show the menu (page titles) but only my logo. Weird.

    Hey Shari,

    Sorry for the delay, we had already stepped out of office for the day. Definitely sounds weird. I’m not sure why you’re still getting the sticky header and you’ve already disabled the setting.

    It seems it could be a Custom Page header set that was never completed in the editor.

    You can verify this from your WordPress dashboard from the Crio > Sticky Page Headers.

    We can try hiding it with custom CSS for now. Back in the WordPress customizer add this bit of CSS to the CSS/JS Editor:

    .header-top .bgtfw-sticky-header.bgtfw-stick {
        display: none !important;
    }

    This custom snippet should hide the sticky menu for you. I hope this helps!

    Thank you for working on this with me. I read the article you linked to, but cannot figure out where to find all these settings. I did add the code you gave me, but unfortunately it did not work after I published it again. So, not sure what to do next. I’m usually pretty good at figuring these things out. For some reason I cannot find the menu that the article is talking about, and I can’t find where I created the header. It does not show up when I edit a particular page. Can you direct me where to find the header editor where I can actually see it visually? Thank you again for all your patience and help!

    No worries Shari, we’ll help get to the bottom of this issue. It sounds to me like your Crio Premium plugin has been deactivated and you’ve lost your premium functionality. That would explain why you don’t have the “Sticky Header” control setting.

    You can follow this guide to download your Crio Premium plugin from your BoldGrid Central account.

    It would be a great help if you could send us a screenshot as well to show us what you’re experiencing on your end. You can use ImgBB to create and share your screenshot with us.

    We look forward to assisting you further with this!

    Thanks for your patience! I’m not sure what I did or didn’t do, but now it’s working correctly. Maybe it was because I did update Crio and BoldGrid. Thank you for all your help!

    That’s awesome to hear Shari,

    It could have definitely been the theme/plugin issue that resolved this issue. If you notice it reoccurring please reach back out to us right away.

    Thank you!
