Hi! I have installed BoldGrid plugin and then deleted it from the WP Plugins panel. However, there is still a BoldGrid icon in the toolbar (theme Twenty Fourteen) and cannot find any way to get rid of it. In the plugins directory there is boldgrid_backup subdirectory but no boldgrid subdirectory.

Also, when the admin clicks the BoldGrid icon on the toolbar there will be the following options available: BoldGrid.com, Documentation, BoldGrid Central, BoldGrid Connect and Feedback and none of those contains any method to uninstall the plugin. In the WP Control Panel there is also all the time a request to install a connect key.

    Appreciate your reply

    Hi Juhani,

Sorry to hear you’re having issues fully uninstalling your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder Plugin. Often times, when you deactivate and/or delete a plugin like “Post and Page Builder” you’ll also need to clear any cached elements associated with the website as well.

You’ll want to purge all server side cache, page cache, and browser cache. After doing so try refreshing to see if that resolves the issue.

If that doesn’t work for you check cPanel>>File Manger for any BoldGrid related files and delete those as well just to be sure you don’t have any unnecessary files running in the background.

I hope this helps! Please reach back out to us if you need further assistance.
