Has anyone ever had images and text appear one way on one browser (i.e. Safari) and the Desktop View in BG Page Editor and have that same page display differently (text and images in different locations on the page) on other browsers??
My pages display in Safari just as they appear in the Desktop View in BoldGrid Editor but my pages display differently (text placed in different locations on the page) when the page is displayed in Firefox. I am not doing anything exotic ..placing images and text on a page with a theme background.
August 17, 2017 at 2:20 pm #23865BoldGrid SupportKeymasterHi, testmonkey!
Thanks for posting your question about the behavior of your images and text in various browsers. I’m sorry to see that you’re experiencing this with your BoldGrid Editor. I have not received reports of this occuring in the latest version of BoldGrid. If you wouldn’t mind, can you please provide the link to replicate the behavior you’re reporting? Also, which version of the BoldGrid Editor (and any other BoldGrid plugins) do you have installed? Does this only happen with the Inspiration you are using for the (Active, Staging, or both versions)?
If you could provide those details along with the Inspiration(s) you are seeing this behavior with, we can look into this more on your behalf. I look forward to your reply to assist you further.
Sincerely,
Carlos E

In our tests, your website displays the same way in: Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
BoldGrid themes are responsive and will adjust based on the size of your browser window, and your settings in Safari. Since browser settings can be personalized, I recommend checking your Safari settings. For example, you may have changed the font size/zoom setting in Safari. Also, ensure the windows are the same size when you are testing since this can affect how your site displays.
Thank you,
John-Paul
August 17, 2017 at 4:11 pm #23862Anonymous UserMemberI checked the zoom settings.. the windows are the same size. I put both browsers in full screen and the Firefox display of the first line and the large title text is approximately 1/2-3/4 of an inch higher than the Safari display in full screen. I messed with it so I can live with it … done now .. thanks
