Hi there!

I’m having an issue with Google Fonts on all site testers such as “Leverage browser caching”, “Optimize CSS Delivery” or “Too many external CSS files”. So, it would be logical if I could install them on the server and having no troubles to ask Google Fonts every time when the visitor is visiting my site, thus increasing speed and decreasing the number of packages between server and client.

Hello,

Sorry for the issue with the Google Fonts on your site. You should be able to use the Font options within BoldGrid to change the fonts. As it is, BoldGrid has its own system for font CSS. The only way to put in a different font system would be to change the code. As BoldGrid is a plugin for WordPress, you may want to try using a plugin for Google Fonts first, though. If the problem persists, then please let us know what you’re doing and then the BoldGrid team can look into it further.

Oh! Thank you for reminding about the plugins. Self Hosted Google Fonts and default settings helped me. And sure, needed to remember about purge caching.
