GuestHi!
With the latest DIVI 4.8.1 and latest W3 Total Cache plugin 2.0.1 and WordPress 5.6, I’ve on this page https://www.metadelic.com/john-howe/news/ a JS error:
“Cannot read property ‘concat’ of undefined at custom.unified.js?ver=4.8.1:51” making my blog cards invisible. If I deactivate W3 Total cache, my blog works.
Is it a know bug of W3 total Cache?Regards, Dominique

KeymasterHi Dominique-
Thanks for the question about W3 Total Cache and Divi.
It’s tough to say what might be causing that error. I tried to replicate it in our Divi testing environment, and I didn’t get the same behavior.
The only major thing I can spot on the front-end that is different from our testing environment is that you have Database Caching enabled. Can you try switching that off in Performance > General to see if the error persists?

GuestHi.
Thank you for the reply. Sadly is still the same error when I disable the DB cache in general.

KeymasterHi Dominique-
Thanks for giving that a shot! It’s tough to imagine what about Page Caching could be causing this, as far as I can tell you’re not minifying your JavaScript with W3 Total Cache. One other thing to try would be to switch your Page Caching method from Disk: Enhanced to Disk: Basic in your General Settings menu.
I’m going to do a little more research on our Divi testing environment and touch base with the development team to see if we can determine the cause of this for you. I’ll reply back here as soon as we have any news.

KeymasterHello Dominique,
As Jesse stated we are unable to replicate the issue on WP 5.6 Divi 4.8.1 and W3TC 2.0.1.
Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>General Settings, save all settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled, and see which one might be causing the issue.
Please let us know the results so we can assist you more with this.

GuestThank you!
I found that deactivating “Disable jquery-migrate on the front-end” solve the issue, but weird, as it is already deactivated in the plugins list…
I dont understand. But it helps for sure!

KeymasterHello Dominique
Thank you for the information.
It seems that jquery-migrate is necessary and custom.unified.js?ver=4.8.1:51 is dependable on it so you should keep that option disabled.
I am glad to know the issue is resolved!

GuestThank you for helping me to resolve the issue.

GuestI’ve contacted Divi and asked when DIVI will get rid of the dependency.
