I have BoldGrid premium. And so far I am quite unhappy with it. But lets stick with one topic per conversation. Right now I am unable to manipulate the header to be want I want it to be. I cannot control the size of the boxes that the name and menu are in. I have got it set multiple times now, and then later it glitches and does something strange. I cannot seem to edit the header except for through the customize feature which is extremely limited. When I go to edit headers, even if I put the main header in a new folder. When I adjust it and get it where I want, I click update, and it reverts immediately. This is so frustrating. Why do I have so little control over my own headers? It would be far easier to code my own header than to mess with this. But I am trying to do this for a client. I really hope there is an easy solution to this.
April 2, 2021 at 10:50 am #35640Joseph WKeymasterThank you for contacting us Mika. I am sorry to hear that there are some problems getting your headers working as expected and our team will do everything we can to help!
Our Crio WordPress theme, which appears to be that active theme on your website, should have controls available in the Customizer that allow you to change the Column Widths of the different items in your header. Normally they can be found by opening up the Customizer and navigating to Design > Header > Layout, are those controls not displaying properly for you? We also have a guide in our support center that demonstrates how to locate those controls and use them to further customize the look of your headers.
Crio Pro also has the option to create Custom Page Header templates which lets you use the Post and Page Builder features to customize your header layouts with a visual editing interface.
Which one of the header design interfaces is currently having problems working as expected on your website? Are there any error messages shown in your browser console or on screen when attempting to save your updates that might explain why your customizations to the header layouts are not saving properly? We would also appreciate it if you could send us the exact steps our team needs to follow in order to replicate the problem on our end. Once we figure out how to recreate the issues we should be able find a fix for the bugs with header customizations.
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention and I hope that we can get them sorted out soon!
April 6, 2021 at 6:29 pm #35757MikaGuestThe controls are only showing options to change how many columns are in Branding or Menu. There is no option displaying for width of these options.
As for the save issue. There was no error displayed. I used Crio > All Headers to get into the header customization page. I created new. Then I used the Include Site Header option to bring up the site header. I just wanted to adjust the size, so I did that and tried to update. It reloads the page but the site header reverts to the old version. I am assuming thats because it is using site header and that is not actually changing the header. I am not sure why I cannot use the customize header option to customize my current global header. That would be a good option I think. Either way, allow customize through the Crio > Header option, or make available more sizing options in the customize menu.

As Joseph mentioned, there are two major ways to customize your header in Crio Pro. The difference is a little easier to show than to tell, so hopefully these quick video examples will help you out.
Here’s a quick video on how to use the Customizer’s size options:
And here’s a quick video on using fully customizable page headers:
