When I use the page/post builder plugin on my staging site, the main menu initially appears as expected. When I click on a main menu item, the sub-menus appear as expected. However, when I click on a sub-menu item, all sub-menu items appear but in a horizontal scheme and I have to click on the desired sub-menu item a second time. Often, the horizontal layout blocks other items and creates confusion.
I need for the horizontal scheme to “go away”. I can make that happen by deleting the page/post plugin but if I do that then some of the pages I created then lose their formatting. When I restore the page/post builder plugin, the formatting is restored but so too is the problem with the main menu.
Note that this problem did not appear on the original site, just the staging site but after I changed the theme.

Thanks for reaching out with your question about working with menus in BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!
Depending on the theme you are switching from, there may have been some styles or filters that helped handle the way the menu displays that aren’t present in the new theme. However this can be hard to tell for sure without looking at what you have going on and the behavior.
I see that you have the staging site protected by a password. Since this is a public forum it might be a good idea to go ahead and reach out and start a ticket to our Premium Support team. We’d be more than happy to take a look at this for you and assist you with further troubleshooting.
We look forward to hearing back from you!
