Hi,
Looking to move an existing WP site from another server to you, presumably this is reasonably straightforward?
Also, if I build another site, can I work on this offline on the “free” site and then sign up to go online with both sites included in the 2 site hosting package for SME’s?

Thanks for your question about moving your WordPress site and then working on the site “offline” before going online.
First, if you’re moving WordPress from one hosting server to another, the main things to transfer are the contents and the database. You can re-install most everything else as needed. It’s just a matter of re-configuring the wp-config file to use your database. I recommend a fresh install over re-installing everything from an old server. However, you can migrate it in that fashion as well.
Editing a site offline requires that you have a web server and database server in order to run WordPress. If you are working “offline” then you need them before you can use the WordPress functionality. If you’re working on nothing but content that you can paste into the WordPress site, then it should be no problem to work offline.
Typically, it’s no issue to have two WordPress sites loaded on the same server. If you don’t want people to get into the site, load up a Maintenance mode plugin and it can prevent access to the rest of the site until you’re ready to publish. Additionally, these plugins can provide information for when your site would be ready to go.
I hope this helps to answer your questions!

Kindest regards,
