Hi,
I am having issues with navigation.
I have page titles in my menus, the titles aren’t blank- but no matter what I do I cannot get text to show up for any main level navigation.I am using the Crio template.
If I move an item to a sub-level, the text shows up.I attempted to bypass this issue by using Elementor Pro to build one of their headers- the same issue occurred- when I pulled in my main menu to a brand new Elementor navigation there was no text.
I’m limited in my knowledge and don’t know any code. Here is a screenshot, you can see that a symbol replaces all of the Titles of the pages that should be in the main navigation (if I’m not mistaken it’s some type of social media website logo).
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!
I inspected your website and it looks like your navigation menu is nested inside of the social media icon in your page header. When you visit the menu area from Appearance<<Menus do you see your top level menu items nested under the social media icon there as well? If so you can drag the sub-level menu items to the left to make them top level items. If you can send a screenshot of your Menus dashboard we can take a look.
I hope this helps.
February 10, 2022 at 12:31 pm #47466CorinneGuestHi there-
I had actually moved the items into a sublevel so that they would be visible. As I was saying, they only show up as text when they’re nested as sublevel.
I’ve changed it back to show you what the main level navigation turns into when I use it normally.
Here is a screenshot of the main menu dashboard.
And here’s a screenshot of the menu locations:
However when I go over to CUSTOMIZE and look at the main menu locations, it appears to also be set to “footer social icons” and I have no idea where to uncheck that:
Thank you!

It definitely seems like your navigation items are inheriting a property of some sort that’s causing them to display this way. Has this always been the case or is this a fairly recent issue? You may benefit from clearing all cache associated with your website (including browser cache and server side cache). Lots of times when changes are made, website elements get cached into the database and need to be purged in order for them to display correctly.
If you’ve already attempted this go ahead and reach out to our Premium Support forum for further assistance. You’re a DreamHost customer so you get our premium service free of charge. In premium support we’ll be able to log directly into your site and take a closer look at the issue.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions for us.

I am attempting to figure out how to log in to Boldgrid Premium- one last thing I would love help with is that-
do we have preset credentials set up for Boldgrid Premium already established?
Is there any way for me to get that login information to Premium?
I’ve been asking Dreamhost but haven’t gotten an answer from them just yet.-Corinne
February 11, 2022 at 10:23 am #47471CorinneGuestI looked further and saw that my client (I am helping someone build this website) had gotten a welcome email from Boldgrid- I’ve asked her to forward that so we can set her up for the Pro support.
Thank you!
