GuestHello,
I’m trying to edit my Crio footer. I have a menu on the left side. I’d like to place a search widget on the right side. However, I can only seem to add widgets to the leftmost column. Looking under Appearance > Widgets, I see that that Footer Column 2, Footer Column 3, and Footer Column 4 are all labeled “Inactive.” Do I need to make one or more of these columns “active”? If so, how? If not, then why am I only able to put widgets in Footer Column 1?
In short, how can I add a widget to the right side of my footer?
Thanks! Lance

KeymasterHi Lance-
Thanks for the question, and thanks for using the Crio WordPress theme for business.
In order to get the other widget areas to show up as Active, you need to add a widget area in the Customize > Design > Footer > Layout section. Once you’ve added a widget area, you’ll be able to add new widgets to the newly active area.

GuestThanks, Jesse. However, the issue is that when I add a widget areas, Footer Column 2, 3, etc. become active, but they are behaving like rows (not columns) stacked along the left margin of the footer. How do I get one widget on the left side, another on the right side?
