How can i display latest or recent posts from my blog on the home page with BoldGrid page editor? How can i also display recent posts from my custom post type on the homepage with BoldGrid page editor?
March 26, 2018 at 1:09 pm #22794KyleMemberHello,
You can set the posts page to be your home page under the main settings in your dashboard, If you were trying to include the recent posts on your existing page you would want to use a plugin that gives you a short code or widget to place on the page. If you are using a custom post type you may need to create your own solution or modify an existing one to include that post type in its display.
Best Regards,

If i use a widget to display recent posts or recent custom post type posts, it will not display in the boldgrid page editor ( is there any solution to make it visible there?). I don’t want to use shortcodes , i dont like it but if im to use it , i want to see it display the recent post in the boldgrid page editor.
Please advice.
Regards
Maximus

March 27, 2018 at 12:47 pm #22791JohnPaul BMemberUnfortunately, widgets do not display in the Page/Post Editor this is the default behavior for WordPress. There are also not any blocks for recent posts since it is a widget.
Thank you,

April 4, 2018 at 2:10 am #22788Anonymous UserMemberHello, i asked 2 questions yesterday about integrating Bold grid page editor with customize posts plugin. I saw it approved by John but it has now been deleted. Why? I believe this live customizer enviroment makes wordpress even easier for a non-tech person.
This was the response i got from the author of the customize posts plugin.
It would probably require that the Bold Grid plugin specifically integrate with Customize Posts. It’s probably only enqueueing assets on the edit post screen. In order to work in the Customizer, it would need to enqueue the assets in the Customizer as well. In short, I think this is something to raise with Bold Grid.
Kindly help on getting this done.
