Background: I’m using BoldGrid in the latest version of WP on an EC2 instance of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
After choosing my Inspiration and going through the setup steps, I click Install. When viewing the log, the first few steps complete quickly, but then the process hangs on “Downloading media for pages…”
I assumed it was a permissions issue, so I’ve temporarily set all directories and files to 777. This has changed nothing.
I will do a clean install if absolutely necessary, but I’d rather know what the issue is.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your BoldGrid installation. When the installation hangs at that point, it is usually due to the server the media is coming from. We are not currently able to duplicate the issue, did it seem to correct itself? Are you able to install BoldGrid Inspirations without issue now?

Scott MI’ve been having the same issue for a couple of weeks now. It just gets stuck on loading media. I cant figure out what the problem is. After 15 minutes it is still stuck on this.
And when checking the media library, only 2 pictures are shown.
I would be more than happy to let the Boldgrid team take a look at this, if so you can check the system by yourselves.
