I made up a website on Bold Grid Cloud WordPress. When I moved it to Dreamhost, the Total Upkeep plugin did not register the fact that the Dreamhost account has premium included. How do I tell the plugin to upgrade its key?
September 17, 2020 at 3:38 pm #27232Joseph WKeymasterHi MJ,
Restoring a backup replaces all existing website data, including the Connect key information, with everything contained in the backup. If the Cloud WordPress website was not created with your Premium Connect then that is likely why it doesn’t think you have Premium access.
Fortunately it’s pretty simple to update which Connect key is used on your website and you can locate those controls by navigating to Settings > BoldGrid Connect in the WordPress dashboard for your website.
If you need to locate your Premium Connect key information from DreamHost you can use our BoldGrid Central interface to find it and when logging into BoldGrid Central be sure to use the same email address associated with your DreamHost account. After logging in open the Connect Keys panel to show all of the Connect keys assigned to your email.
Hopefully updating the Connect key information helps you get you premium features working again and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to help!
September 17, 2020 at 5:49 pm #27255M J DowdenGuestThat didn’t work. My login address at Dreamhost is not the same as the address that is associated with the [redacted] .com website. I am attempting to connect the [redacted] .com website’s Total Upkeep plugin with the DreamHost account in which it now resides, having been “incubated” at Bold Grid Cloud WordPress.

It looks like the premium key for this website is the one ending in 33236204.
And you’re right, it looks like there are two accounts for you. In order to find your Premium Keys, log into BoldGrid Central with your email address that matches this: m**@v*************s.org
If you’re having trouble logging into your premium account, send us an email at support [at] boldgrid [dot] com and we’ll be happy to help you out privately.
September 18, 2020 at 2:02 pm #27284M J DowdenGuestThank you, that fixed it. I now have premium everything and I cleared the footer.
On a related note, the S3 feature is great, but it only works with Amazon. Other firms now offer S3 compatible storage (Oracle, IBM). Is there any plan in the works to include support for their buckets? IBM will give you 25 GB for free. Oracle will give you up to 100 GB for free.
Thanks again and best regards

Glad to hear that you got it sorted out!
In fact, you can already use Total Upkeep Premium for any S3-Compatible storage service, but the interface is a little confusing because it was originally designed for DreamHost’s DreamObjects service, which is an S3-Compatible object storage service.
You can set up your S3-Compatible storage service by navigating to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Storage and selecting the option to Configure DreamObjects. From there, you’ll just need your Access Key and Secret, as well as the hostname of your storage, and you’ll be able to store your backups there.
I’ve also submitted a feature request to make this option easier to use in future versions of the product.
September 18, 2020 at 5:19 pm #27305M J DowdenGuestThank you again. I now have a backup stored in the IBM Cloud, which worked quite easily on the first try. Just enter the specified values in the boxes. I spent an hour or more trying to get the Oracle Cloud configured to accept connections before giving up and trying IBM.
September 18, 2020 at 5:20 pm #27307Jesse OwensKeymasterThanks for that feedback MJ! I’ll do some research into the Oracle Cloud to see if I can come up with a solution for you.
