I used to use total upkeep as my backup and restore solution and there were times when it really proved it’s worth. At some point the restore feature stopped working, but I have recently added a new theme and decided to try Total Update again.
After running the backup everything looks good I until I test restore. I get identical error messages using either zip or pcl options in the settings — there is an incompatible file format.
PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure

Thanks for reaching out although I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with your Total Upkeep backups and migrations plugin.
I have a few questions to ask so that we can begin troubleshooting:
1.) How are you taking your backups? Are you using the Magic Link option or is this a manual backup?
2.) Do you remember making any changes to your website since your last successful backup and restore?
3.) Could you send us restoration logs for your latest attempts?
Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs and look for the log with a filename similar to
restore-XXXXXXXX.log
and a timestamp corresponding to the restoration that failed. If you can paste that log here, we’ll be able to determine what’s causing the failure.
You can also try restoring your backup using Total Upkeep’s command line utility.
We look forward to assisting you further with this!
