Hi!
Just bought the W3 Total Cache Pro license and have one question:
Is this license for one domain only – or unlimited domains?September 15, 2020 at 2:58 pm #27039Jesse OwensKeymasterHi Hilmar-
Licensing for W3 Total Cache is on a “per-installation” basis. So for example, if you had several domains on a WordPress Multisite instance, you will only need one license, but if each domain has its own WordPress installation, you will need a license for each site.
If you’re setting up staging and development servers, you can use Pro Dev Mode on your development environments.

Thanks for your answer.
I could not find information about single vs multiple site license – maybe it would be a good idea to clarify this on your site…? Many plugins are offered as single, multiple and unlimited site license so I guess people expect to get such options.
Thank you for pointing out the Pro Dev Mode option. If I understand correct my license is linked to the domain used when I purchase the pro version – I used the development site URL. Can I change this to the live site URL once I’m ready to go live with the site?September 16, 2020 at 12:46 pm #27127Jesse OwensKeymasterHi Hilmar-
Yes, once you update the URL to your production site, simply navigate to Performance > General Settings > Licensing and re-authorize the key by clicking Verify License.
