I don’t want to use shortcodes , i dont like it but if im to use it , i want to see it display the recent post in the boldgrid page editor.

Anonymous UserMemberI am having the same issue when attempting to edit pages with Internet Explorer, the problem doesn’t happen with Firefox.
March 21, 2018 at 5:07 am in reply to: Removing Menus from Specific Pages, and adding Custom menus to others #22816Anonymous UserMemberHey Cristopher, and thank you for the expedited response.
Ill attempt to create a custom page template then, and use that option;
For the second part of the question, the issue has been resolved.
Thank you kindly!
Anonymous UserMemberThanks for your answer.
Other than embedding the titles in the images themselves, are there any other options for the formatting I’m trying to achieve?
For instance, can one add “text boxes” below the one already in place? Or, is there a plugin for the gallery that can be added for greater control?
Anonymous UserMemberI am at the WordPress admin dashboard. I am using WordPress 4.94. The only plugins I have are Bold Grid Inspirations 1.5.5, and Bold Grid Post and Page Builder 1.7.1. When I click on Pages, it says “No pages found”, even though I am on my website’s .com/wp-admin page. I don’t know the version of the theme I am using, although it was installed Jan. 2017.

March 13, 2018 at 3:37 pm in reply to: How can I remove/hide the logo from the home page but leave it in all the others? #22853Anonymous UserMemberSure the website is http://cortesephotoandfilm.com. I didn’t make the page named Boudoir yet. But I would like to know how to remove the logo from a specific page in general.
March 13, 2018 at 12:17 pm in reply to: How can I remove/hide the logo from the home page but leave it in all the others? #22854Anonymous UserMemberThank you so much, it works. And what if I would like to remove the logo from another specific page named “Boudoir”?
March 9, 2018 at 6:11 pm in reply to: I cannot delete a block of color in BoldGrid in my Site Logo area. #22868Anonymous UserMemberThat is beyond my skill level. What am I supposed to do?
March 5, 2018 at 3:13 pm in reply to: How do I change the behavior in the Wedge theme which has the first letter in the website name and menu items as a different color? #22887Anonymous UserMemberThanks very much!
March 2, 2018 at 9:57 am in reply to: My site is published but when I go to edit my pages, there’s literally no content. #22927Anonymous UserMemberI’m having a systemic issue with this, across my installs on 3 domains. The ‘x’ in the editor disappeared and after installing a new inspiration, reinstalling the Post and Page builder, it still doesn’t show.
Those were all the tips support has provided on the matter, so now I need to know what to do to get it back. I did not alter any framework and debug shows nothing out of the ordinary
Anonymous UserMemberThanks for the quick reply Christopher. If you go to my site, you’ll see that the mobile menu is below the logo. I want it to be side by side. http://idperio.com/bg_idperio.com/
I’ve tried several CSS tricks, but just can’t seem to get it.
Thanks for the help!
Anonymous UserMemberChristopher,
Thanks for the reply – I am looking for input from any boldgrid user that have used dreamhost.

February 26, 2018 at 3:18 pm in reply to: My site was using a free key. I just changed it with a Premium Connect Key. How long do I need to wait to see the premium on the website? #23069Anonymous UserMemberI am having this same issue. I just updated to my premium connect key and I’m not seeing that reflected. I also need to remove the Special Thanks attribution for my company site.
Anonymous UserMemberI read the question to mean how can we change the page background, not the block background. I’d like to know if that is possible as well. All I can see is a single site-wide template for backgrounds, but I’d like to be able to have a different background for interior pages than for my home page. Any ideas for that?
Anonymous UserMemberHi Carlos, thanks for the reply, another question on the same tpopic – If I am using the BoldGrid backup am I correct that the backup will copy both the active and staged site? And how does it handle the difference in domain name if I move to another domain?
Thanks,
Lee W
February 21, 2018 at 5:34 pm in reply to: How do I get a photo back in the section where I took it out? #22944Anonymous UserMemberI am just starting out with setting up the site so unfortunately I don’t have a backup. But it is not the photo I am looking for. I am looking to fix it so I can restore it with 4 photos across the section. There were 4, and no there are 3 and a big empty space. Nothing will seem to go in that big empty space. I already started over once because I didn’t like the way the design was working for me. Now I am further along with a different design. I find it difficult to believe that there is not some way to put a photo in the section where it was before without starting over. I still have the photo, it is one of my own. It is the space where it used to be that is causing me trouble. “Undo” didn’t help, because I guess I did other things in between that didn’t work to fix it. Using Boldgrid to customize is not easy at all.
Anonymous UserMemberBoldgrid works better with GoDaddy perfectly. I already used it for my last 4 projects.

Anonymous UserMemberIf the problem is theme related, can you contact the Evolv theme developer? AAlex Pre you still working on solving this problem? Thank you!
February 14, 2018 at 12:18 am in reply to: Post and Page Builder adds editor css files to front end #22986Anonymous UserMemberYes. I have followed proper instructions as per the guidelines. Have a look at http://newcp5.wsigenesis.com/
I have installed Boldgrid Uptempo theme and then created child theme of that. When I activate parent theme, it works properly but activating child theme shifts the layout to the left.Anonymous UserMemberAs this is not there, just an x to exit in top rectangle box, where save should be, only blank. Is it possible that once changes are done in Grid One Theme such as input image gallery, font change and background colour change, that it is no longer possible to make any design changes?
Anonymous UserMemberThanks, no it’s missing, just blank, x on the left to leave and nothing to the right. I’ll have to check with hosting see if have any ideas. Tried browser changes etc. Will keep searching for answers.
Anonymous UserMemberThe clear formatting icon solves all the problems. It looks like a little eraser next to the special character button. It clears all the invisible formating garbage and resets to the default font. I can’t believe there’s actually a magic button for this.
Anonymous UserMemberI fixed it. The way I did it was to open my site and edit it in each of the browsers. Each time I opened it in a new browser, it fixed the issue for that particular browser. fortunately it continued to work for the previous browsers. I assume that WordPress must have automatically added some code on the back-end for each successive browser.
Anonymous UserMemberHello Arnel,
It seems like we have misunderstanding.
As I mentioned, the problem with editor happened while I was editing a page. I didn’t do anything unusual to trigger it. It just happened for no apparent reason.
Last CSS was customized long before the incident. Details are here
Only BLOG pages are affected. Non-blog pages are fine. Non-blog page in the editor screenshot here. Same page on the website here. As you can see, the content looks the same.
Software used: WP 4.9.4, Evolv theme 1.23, all latest BG plugins.
I’m not sure what problem you had with the background. What additional details can I provide?
Thank you!
Anonymous UserMemberI am trying to add a bold quotation mark but it is not showing in the page. Maybe I am incorrect in the process. Please assist me. Phyllis
Anonymous UserMemberHi Carlos D,
Oh, thank you so much! I installed the Boldgrid backup plug-in, did a manual back-up as advised, then updated the Diced theme. My website is still intact, and WooCommerce works fine. Thank you again for your help!
Anonymous UserMemberThank you Carlos,
I realize that the editor isn’t big enough, but why did it shrink, and how to “unshrink” it? As I mentioned before, only Blog module pages affected, and it happened in the process of editing.
Anonymous UserMemberYes, I’m able to duplicate the problem. All my blog (and blog only) pages act like this. To duplicate it, open any blog page in BG editor, and see the difference with the preview (or published). I use Evolv theme if it matters.
It happened in the middle of a page edit, and I wasn’t doing anything unusual. Perhaps, the problem has something to do with the WP update to the latest version, which happened at about same time period.
I tried to reinstall BG Post and Page Builder plugin, no luck.
Anonymous UserMemberThank you. How can I check the version of my backup and the current version of the demo I have?
Anonymous UserMemberI had the issue section menu is gone.
What I need to do is update Boldgrid to 4.9.1 and update WordPress to latest.
Anonymous UserMember“An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
I’ve tried uploading using the multi-file uploader and the browser uploader without success. I’ve tried it on my phone and on my desktop. I’ve also tried uploading images from the Boldgrid Connect Search without success.
Anonymous UserMemberIt says “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
I’ve tried uploading from my phone using the browser uploader and the multi-file uploader. I’ve tried from a desktop without success also. I’ve tried uploading images from the Bluegrid connect search as well without luck.
Anonymous UserMemberI am not sure this posted, apologies if it is a repeat.
connect.telecetera.co.uk has been temporarily set-up to allow you to see the reported from from a smart device (phone). I.e. the CSS we added to workaround the problem has been taken away.
We would prefer there not to be a problem. Please can you review?
Anonymous UserMemberI am facing same issue with BoldGrid Easy SEO plugin. There is an option to change meta information of pages/post. But such option is not present on category/ blog pages. So what steps do i need to follow to set new title to my category pages.
Anonymous UserMemberThanks. As I put in my post, I had fixed the site with the CSS addition (I figured you were likely to be able to test easily enough internally).
Please try – with a device – connect.telecetera.co.uk and see a site that exhibits the problem
Anonymous UserMemberDone, thanks JohnPaul
Anonymous UserMemberHi,
We are so pleased with BoldGrid, we signed up with InMotion to host a new site (thanks for all the hard work). The problem reported still happens and on a real device (this is the update to the post, just tried it using a Moto G4 Plus).
We can fix it by adding
@media only screen and (max-width: 690px) {. call-to-action > h2 {
font-size: 50px !important;
}
}
to the bottom of style.css, we don’t think we should have to. You can check it out at telecetera.org (currently WITH this CSS added so it works!)
Whilst I am on, you have I think a problem with support links on your website. Do you have an email address I can send an attachment to, to explain?
