    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out with your Total Upkeep questions! It sounds like you may need to reconfigure and authorize Google Drive in your Total Upkeep settings. You can follow this guide to learn how to do just that.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if there’s anything else that we can answer for you.

    Hi Mitch,

Using the “Block Library is very similar to the “Used Blocks” option. You can easily save any block library and use it throughout your content in the same way as the “Used Block” option. The only difference is you’ll have to remember to save the blocks you wish to reuse into your block library.

You can favorite a block by hovering over it and clicking the “heart icon that appears and after that you can select in from the “Add Block > Block Library” section of your Post and Page Builder.

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out with and thank you for using the Grid One theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

The Grid One theme is considered one of our legacy themes and customizer controls are somewhat outdated so its not as intuitive as it should be so I definitely see how you got stomped here after testing it myself.

I was able to center your image with some custom CSS. You might have to adjust the amount of pixels a bit to get it to display properly on your end but if you visit the Advanced > Custom JS & CSS and add the bit below it should help:

    .boldgrid-section img:not(.aligncenter) {
        margin-left: 150px;
    }

If you’re looking for a theme that gives you more control over your site design and customization I would definitely recommend our Crio Pro WordPress theme. Crio builds on Grid Ones controls and design approach but there are over 400 easy to use and fully customizatable settings that make small changes like this effortless.

    I hope this helps David!

    Hi Juha,

Thanks for reaching out and thank you for purchasing Total Upkeep Premium!

Total Upkeep will backup any tables that use the website’s database prefix, which is wp_ by default, but that value can be changed. the database prefix used for a particular installation is set in wp-config.php.

As for you daily backup schedule, Normally the uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin removes all crons automatically, but if something like, maybe a plugin directory was deleted by mistake you can:

Either use your web host’s cron job manager (like cPanel or a similar tool)
or on command line with the crontab -e command. allow us to quickly test this issue on our end.

I hope this helps Juha! Please let us know if there’s anything else that we can answer for you!

    Hi Shari,

Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions!

If you add your custom HTML directly to the widget area in your theme it will appear globally. In order to add a custom widget to a homepage you’ll need input the form directly into your page in the Post and Page Builder.

Simply find the area on your page where you’d like to add your HTML and switch to the “Text” editor of Post and Page Builder to add your HTML. After adding your HTML switch back to the “Visual” editor to inspect your changes.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you Deborah,

We recommended using GitHub Gist to send over your HTML because sending it directly through the forum thread like above will strip your code for security purposes.

We’re unable to generate the correct formatting this way but if you could create a gist and just name the file BoldGrid.html and paste the link to that gist here we can open it and take a look.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lily,

The Premium Connect Key should be a numerical sequence and not a link. You’ll need to input the premium key itself to activate the license.

Are you able to send us a screenshot of what you’re experiencing?

We look forward to assisting you further with this!

    Hi Lily,

Once you have the key, you can enter it in the WordPress Dashboard of each website Settings > BoldGrid Connect. You’ll see Click here to change your Connect Key.

No worries, you can use your premium key on the sites your managing through your agency as well.

    Thanks Deborah,

I’m happy you managed to resolve your first issue. I’m thinking there may be some misplaced code causing your formatting issues.

When copying over TEXT you want to be sure you’re starting with an empty destination page. So when you first switch over to the “Text” editor erase any additional code you see there before pasting your content.

You can also paste your code into an manager like GitHub Gist and link it to this page so we can inspect it on our end. We’d be happy to do that for you.

We look forward to assisting you further with this!

    Hi Lily!

Thanks for reaching out with your Total Upkeep questions! After your premium license key purchase you’ll be able to use the key on as many projects as you choose as long as you own the site you’re working on.

    Hi Deborah,

Thank you reaching out and thanks for using the BoldGrid Linx theme with Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

Setting a static page is a feature that you will set in your BoldGrid (Linx) theme customizer. From your WordPress dashboard click Appearance > Advanced > Homepage Settings > and from here you can set a static page to display on your homepage.

I hope this helps Deborah! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us!

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for reaching out although I’m sorry to hear you’re having some Cloud WordPress and Billing issues on your account. Your issue with Cloud WordPress is likely due to your subscription expiring.

Are still able to access your BoldGrid Central Account?

If so, log in and click the “Support Center” (question mark) icon in the top right corner and scroll down and select BoldGrid Premium Support.

BoldGrid Premium Support is a private forum so we’ll be able to pull up and inspect your account information to see what’s going.

    I hope this helps Eric!

    Hi Shari,

Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions.

Adding an HTML form and styling it with CSS is usually a 2 step process in WordPress. If you’ve already added your HTML to your post and page builder editor you need to go into your WordPress Customizer Appearance > Customize > Advanced > Custom JS & CSS and add it to the Custom Theme CSS section.

    I hope this helps Shari!

We really appreciate you for working with us on this!

    Hi Will!

I definitely think so, we did some research and found a similar issue with AIOWPS. Take a look at this support topic on WordPress.org to see how another user resolved the issue and try following the steps they used to resolve your own.

I really hope this works out for you Will! Of course we’re always here to answer any questions you might have.

Do you have the AIOWPS Plugin or Google ReCaptcha activated on your site by chance?

    Hi Will,

I spoke with our developers and they confirmed. If you have access to the site database then you can update the password directly from there. You’ll need to find the account in the users table, enter the new password in the row and save it with MD5 encryption.

You also want to sure that you’re accessing correct website. I know of cases where the user updates the password in the original WordPress installation and then tried using the new password on their actual website.

    Hey Will,

I definitely understand where you’re coming from here. It’s just really odd to me that you can’t even receive the password reset email, I know it often arrives in users spam box but to not receive it at all is unusual. Especially if you’ve attempted with more than one admin user.

I’ve contacted our developers on the matter and expect a prompt reply from them. I’ll update you via this thread the moment I hear something from them.

Thanks for working with us on this Will!

    Thanks Will,

It’s actually a good thing that we can confirm the users imported correctly. We have a guide on 5 ways to reset your WordPress password that you might benefit from going over. Specifically the PhpMyAdmin, Adminer, Or Another Database Admin Tool section.

You should at the least have the ability to login and/or modify your credentials from the server level. Once you’ve accessed the site I’d be interested in taking a look at your restoration log to see if we can determine why this happened.

Thanks Will. I hope this helps!

Thanks for continuing to work through this with us Will!

When you made your backup did you take a full backup (Files & Folders + Full Database)? I’m think if you took a custom backup that did not include certain database user tables the database could still reflect that of the previous installation.

Could you try logging in with your previous admin credentials to test this theory?

We hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi Will!

Thanks for reaching back out with your Total Upkeep questions! I apologize, I may have gotten to this contact late but if you take a look at the latest response in our last thread it looks like I answered this for you.

    Hey Will,

No worries! I’m happy you managed to get your backup to complete! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble logging in now! If your attempting to log in using your user name try inputting the email address associated with the account instead to see if it allows you to log in that way.

You can also reset the password on the account from the login screen.

Thanks Will! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!

    Hi Angela,

Thanks for reaching out to support!

Could you please enable wp_debug on your your website so that it will display any error message you might be receiving?

Our team is aware of an ongoing issue with DreamHost customers experiencing the same fatal error on PHP 8.1. We have started a ticket with our developers to investigate and this should be resolved quickly.

We hope to have this fixed in the next update to Crio which will be released soon. If you’d like to check in on the progress of this you are more than welcome to reply back to this thread.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, if you’re able to enable wp_debug to record your error message it would be a great help in determining your specific issue.

    Thank you!

    Hi Will,

You’re correct, basically the overall size of the restoration file is too large to for it’s storage location to handle. Do you have older restorations or backups saved on the web disk that you could remove? That might clear up the space you need to run the restore.

    Brandon C

    Thanks Kara,

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t make any progress there. It’s possible that image is tied to a row. One thing we can do is review your code on our end if your don’t mind creating a Github Gist for us.

All you have to do is open your page in the Post and Page Builder and click the “Text” editor tab. The raw HTML will appear in the editor. Copy/paste that html into your gist and create a link to share with us.

We’ll review your code and tell you exactly what you need to do to make your changes.

    Thanks a lot Will,

After inspecting your restore log it looks like the error is here:

    [2023-05-09 17:27:59 UTC] Memory usage - limit / current / peak memory usage: 1073741824 / 11627864 (11.09 MB) / 972161376 (927 MB)

The issue seems to be server resources, there is not enough allotted memory for the backup to complete correctly. In this case you’ll likely need to contact your host or whoever manages your server and request more resources.

You could try excluding file or folders when you take your backup to clear up space. At the very least this way you’ll have control over which files are transferred over or your restore.

I hope this answers your question Will!

    Hi Will,

My apologies, I initially thought your database backups were failing and I did not realize you were actually attempting a restore. Your backup information was very useful but we’ll also need to review the restore log.

Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs and look for the log with a filename similar to restore-XXXXXXXX.log and a timestamp corresponding to the restoration we’re working with as well.

    Thanks a lot Will!

    Hi Will,

I would definitely recommend excluding the file from your backup instead of changing the file permissions. It’s not generally a good practice to change file permissions.

    Hi Will,

Total Upkeep makes a log every time you create a backup, so that’s going to be the place we want to check first.

Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs and look for your most recent log. It will have a name like archive-XXXXXXXX.log. If you can copy that and paste it here, we’ll be able to get some more information about what went wrong.

Thanks Will, we look forward to assisting you further with this!

    Hi Javier,

Thanks for reaching out with your BoldGrid Post and Page Builder questions!

In order to adjust your column sizes you’ll need to use the Advanced Controls provided by Post and Page Builder. If you hover over any one of your columns a “blue” hamburger tab will appear. Click the hamburger then scroll down and select “Advanced Controls” and from this section you’ll have the ability to resize the column or change it’s shape.

If you want to have absolute control over the column and you’re comfortable using custom CSS then you can add a custom class or ID to each column and select it in the CSS/JS editor section of the WordPress Customizer to make your changes.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.

    Thank you Ethan,

Can you tell us your PHP version? We’ll need to test this issue on our end to see if we’re able to replicate the error.

You can find your PHP version for the Tools > Site Health section of your WordPress Dashboard. It would also be a great help if you could copy/paste your list of active plugins into the thread here.

Thanks Ethan, we look forward to assisting you further with this.

    Hi Ethan,

Thanks for reaching out! We inspected the URL you linked in the thread and it looks like your website is back up and running so that’s great news. Your issues here are likely stemming from your TwentyTwentyTwo theme and and BoldGrid Post and Page Builder combination.

The Post and Page Builder specifically integrates with themes built on the BoldGrid Theme Framework such as our flagship Crio Pro WordPress theme.

I didn’t notice any errors in the console currently. Are you still experiencing any issues?

    Brandon C
    Keymaster

Thanks for reaching out with your Total Upkeep questions!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues but we let’s see if we can help you out. The fact the your backup is timing out with this error generally points toward hitting limitations in your server resources.

You should try changing the backup compressor type to see if that allows the backup to complete. Navigate to Total Upkeep > Settings > Backup Process. If System Zip is available, choose that option. System Zip is significantly faster than the PclZip or ZipArchive libraries, and may use fewer resources. Attempt to create another backup using the Default compression level.

If the backup still fails, try reducing the Compression Level. A setting of 0 will not compress the backup at all, using the lowest amount of CPU and memory. This does mean that the Disk Input/Output is increased due to the larger file size, however.

If your backups are still failing after switching the Backup Compressor and Compression Level, set the Compression Level back to Default, and check the box to enable the Filelist Analysis. Attempt to create another backup.

Navigate to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs, and look for the most recent log that ends in filelist.log. Examine the filelist and look for any very large files or directories. You can then delete those files if you don’t need them, or exclude them from your backups to conserve resources.

I hope this helps! We look forward to assisting you further with this.
